Mustang Robotics

The San Diego Robotics League Finals took place today at Montgomery High School. Teams from across the area came together for the 5th time this season to determine the 2023 League Champions, Skills Awards Champion and Award winners.

Qualifications ended with 4 Mustang Robotics teams leading the way. Congratulations to team 507B who ended the season as the #1 qualifying team in League. These 9th graders are on.

Proud that all 5 Mustang Robotics teams were selected in the Alliance selection process for the Elimination rounds.

Mustang teams decided to pick each other during selection, creating Alliances #1 (507 A/B) & #2 (507 D/E). These Alliances proceeded to win their way to the finals, where they had an incredible battle of Robotic Frisbee Golf.

Congratulations to the 2023 San Diego Robotics League Champions…Team 507 D & E.

Congratulations to Team 507 D for also being the Skills Champion. The Skills event is a solo team competition that includes autonomous programming runs and student-driven runs. Their score of 326 points places them currently as the 35th highest scoring team this season in the entire World! Shout out to 507 B who is ranked 68th with a score of 285.

As a program we performed at a very high level and also received many other recognitions in the event:
507 A & B – Tournament Finalist
507 A – Think Award
507 B – Design Award
507 D – Excellence Award (Top Award)
507 E – Amaze Award

We now have 4 out of 5 teams qualified for the California State Championships in March.
Great Job Mustangs!
