Work Permit

To obtain a work permit start by completing “SUHSD Form No. B1-1” , which includes a signature from your employer.  Once you have been hired by an employer you can complete “SUHSD Form No. B1-1” and submit it to Mr. Patel using the Google Form linked below.  All signatures must be complete for the application to be processed.   If you are extending your existing work permit to include the summer, you can fill out the Google Form without submitting a new “SUHSD Form No. B1-1”. 

You must have a 2.0 grade point average and good attendance to be granted a permit.  If you have any questions contact Mr. Patel via email:  john.patel@sweetwaterschools.org

Otay Ranch High School will be issuing work permits up until June 15th.  Between June 16th – July 9th email your complete “SUHSD Form No. B1-1” to student.services@sweetwaterschools.org or you can take it the SUHSD Student Services office in person, 1130 Fifth Avenue.
